Hypercharge Unboxed: Action, FPS Preview
Do you miss the plastic action from, Army Men: Sarge’s Hero’s? Then look no further! Digital Cybercherries has just what you need with their new game, Hypercharge Unboxed. In Hypercharge Unboxed, players have the chance to square up against each other in some PvP action or fight together in co-op mode to defend the hyper-cores.
The gameplay itself is very straight forward and if you’ve played other FPS you’ll feel right at home. The game starts you out with one map and a machine gun. You’ll have to shoot and build your way through wave after wave of toys, hell-bent on destroying the hyper-cores. After you complete the first objective, you’ll unlock other maps and customizable items, like new skins, weapons and character elements, which can be applied to your action figure. Each map will offer the player new experiences and new defense items. You will also unlock different areas to explore, new gun upgrades and some hidden collectibles. All of the different environments look fantastic on Switch and the gameplay feels great. At times Hypercharge Unboxed feels like you’re playing a scene
right out of Toy Story and will leave you feeling rootin’, tootin’ and ready for shootin’. Unfortunately, for all those noobs out there, the tutorial will be included in a later update.
Hypercharge Unboxed is the second game developed by Digital Cybercherries and they are working on the game’s first content update coming in February. The update will have new characters, party modes, among other content.
Hypercharge Unboxed releases January 31st on Nintendo Switch and Steam for $19.99
Looks insane how does this run on the Switch?
It runs well
