Jimmy Fallon Plays Mario Tennis Aces
Jimmy Fallon was able to take Mario Tennis Aces for a spin today and his exact words were, “its a must own!” Gameplay looked smooth and the various control styles all seemed very capable.
I personally can’t wait to play with each of the control styles. Wii Sports Resort Tennis wasn’t without its fair share of game time in my household. I am fairly confident that many double matches will be played in our living room starting May 24, when the demo launches. The fanservice that Nintendo brings to these games has shown that they know the nostalgia is strong with its fan base. Watching Spike put the tennis ball in his mouth and then spit it out to serve is a total throwback to Super Mario Bros 3 where we saw him pull spike balls from his mouth and throw them at us. Watching Luigi leave skid marks from his sneakers is a nice touch when taking a special shot.
