New Nintendo Console In The Works?
During an interview with BBC Shinya Takahashi talks about the current success that Nintendo is having and the end of the interview mentions that Nintendo is always researching new hardware and we may see a new system sometime in the future. source
It’s not all that surprising to hear that Nintendo would be working on new hardware, they are a hardware manufacturer. What’s strange is hearing it mentioned so early in the life cycle of the Switch, as system Nintendo wants to have at least a 6-year lifespan. We can only speculate at this point that maybe it’s newer Switch model or a 3DS/2DS successor. As the video below mentions it could be a translation error. What do you think?
