Gotta catch em all
Nintendo has confirmed that fighters from past Smash Bros games will be getting amiibo. Pichu and Ice Climbers were specifically mentioned in the update, but the rest of the remaining fighters will also make an appearance. Wolf, Snake, Young Link, and so many more will help complete the collection that began with Smash for WiiU. I believe the number sits around 16 new amiibo, but I wonder about Mario with Cappy and Breath of the Wild Link?
While amiibo seemed to be taking a somewhat of backseat to Labo in retail stores, it’s apparent that Nintendo isn’t ready to abandon their version of toys to life yet.
