Nintendo of Japan released a post today detailing various Smash Bros Tournaments following E3. Smash Bros Switch, while unreleased, will be playable in multiple tournaments around Japan. From what I was able translate it looks like at least three different tournaments at various times and locations. At least four tournaments before the games released if you include the 2018 Invitational at E3. Nintendo must believe that this game is ready to make a splash in the esport scene and if it’s tournament ready the release can’t be too far off.
