How To Find The Wing Suit in Tears of the Kingdom: A Detailed Guide

You may be asking yourself how to find the  Wingsuit or Glide Set in Tears of the Kingdom. This suit is an incredible asset for players who love to explore the game’s expansive world from above, giving you the ability to skydive and glide smoothly through the air. Here’s how you can add it to your inventory.

Location

The Wingsuit can be found on three small islands in the sky region of the game world:

  1. Courage Island (Glide Shirt): This island is located to the west of Lookout Landing, fairly close to Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower.
  2. Bravery Island (Glide Pants): This island is directly above the Great Hyrule Forest. The closest Skyview Tower is Typhlo Ruins, but you’ll need to traverse across other floating islands to reach it.
  3. Valor Island (Glide Mask): For this island, simply flying from Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower might not be enough. Your best bet is to use the Water Temple fast travel point. Once there, you can create a DIY plane, balloon, or rocket craft to help you reach the island.

To reach these islands, you’ll need to interact with the Skyview Towers closest to them or a landmark in the Sky region. From there, you’ll need to navigate your way mid-air until you reach these areas. Keep in mind that you’ll be aiming for the small floating islands below the gigantic rotating pillars, not the pillars themselves.

Unlocking the Wingsuit

Reaching these islands isn’t enough to get the Wingsuit. Once you’ve landed, you’ll need to converse with the Zonai Construct located on each island. They’ll tell you about a skydiving ritual where you have to jump off and glide through all the green rings, eventually reaching a pool of water further down below.

For your first attempt, don’t worry too much about time — this is just a practice run. Once you complete it, you’ll unlock a Shrine at that location. Then, it’s time for the real challenge.

Your next attempt will be a timed trial run. For this, you have to offer one Zonai Charge and complete the course within the given time limit. If you’re successful, you’re rewarded with the Glide outfit from that particular island. You can also try again to beat a record, which will earn you a Large Zonai Charge.

The Wingsuit or Glide Set significantly improves your controls and strafing while in mid-air, allowing for smoother gliding and skydiving. So, make the most out of these armor pieces as you explore the captivating world of “Tears of the Kingdom”
