Is the Witcher Playable on the Switch

Witcher on the Switch is definitely playable

After watching The Witcher on Netflix, I decided it was time. I had a few Best Buy gift cards from Christmas, so I picked up The Witcher on Switch. After a couple of hours in, I’m kicking myself for not picking this game up sooner. I’ll leave you with a handful of bullet points on why I recommend it on the Switch.

  1. It’s Witcher on the go. I’ll sacrifice graphics to play this game on the go. I notice the lack of texture or the occasional pop-in, but it’s worth it for me to play this game in bed.
  2. Superb storytelling. I immediately fell in love with the characters and want to know more about them and the adventures we are going on.
  3. This game doesn’t pull a Metroid. You feel well equipped right off the bat to take on enemies and kick some ass. I bumped the difficulty up a bit, so I will still die occasionally.
  4. The gameplay is fantastic. You will have to do much more than spam the X and Y buttons. Using magic and dodging all play a part in making sure you stay alive through each encounter.

These are only a few of my thoughts so far, and I’m thoroughly enjoying The Witcher on Switch. Have you played it? What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.
