The Nintendo Switch Lite Launches September 20th
Nintendo just announced the Switch Lite! It will be here Sept 20th and will retail for $199.99. This is a strictly portable device that will not connect to your television. There will be three colors at launch yellow, grey, and turquoise.

Pokémon Sword and Shield Nintendo Switch Lite was also announced! This version of the Switch Lite will be available November 8th when Pokémon Sword and Shield launch!

If it cant connect to the TV, then there’s no reason for it to be called switch honestly… I get it, thats the name of the main console, but yeah. RIP 3DS
The Switch Lite looks quite interesting, and I’m starting to get that itch to buy the thing. But first, I’d need to confirm some aspects of the system, namely how well it will complement the original Switch. My biggest question is whether I can be signed into both systems and play the games I’ve already bought on the Nintendo Switch. I would really like to buy the Lite for my wife, and it would be great if we didn’t have to buy a bunch of new games for it. In addition, I wonder how well the cloud save system would work. Could I play BOTW on my original Switch, upload the save data, and then pick up where I left on the Lite? I would be interested in your take and as always, keep up the amazing work.
Does it take the same cartridges as the switch? I would assume yes. Also, I wonder if it will connect to my same Nintendo account so I can download online purchased games, and if so, will I be able to play on switch and switch lite simultaneously (multiplayer). Sweet deal I totally want one. I never feel like lugging my switch out of the house without a case but I could slip this guy in my laptop bag and have it always with me!
