E3 is less than a week away and it’s looking like it’s going to be huge for Nintendo. A GameStop employee posted a photo showing ten new full priced SKUs.
Ten new SKU’s for the Switch and three or four each for the Xbox and PS4. Nintendo promised that 2018 would be just as big as 2017 and it looks like they will be delivering on that promise. What’s the ratio of ports, first party, and third-party games in this list?
There have been a few rumblings of The New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe getting a port, but it’s nothing more than rumors at this point. Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, and Mario Maker are a few of the games that I would guess make their way to the Switch at some point. Metroid Prime Trilogy is another rumor that has made its way around the web. Let’s not forget games like Animal Crossing or Mario Party that haven’t been announced yet. I believe Nintendo promised new IP’s for the Switch at the beginning of this year, and Sushi Striker is delivering on that promise, but what else does Nintendo have up their sleeve? In less than a week, we find out. Please remember that with all leaks to take them with a grain of salt.
I’d love to hear your best guesses on what these ten game are, let me know in the comments below.
