A Fresh Season Brings All-New Reasons to Dive into Splatoon 3

Starting today, all Splatoon 3 players with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership can enjoy the new Fresh Season 2023 content, which brings with it exciting new features and activities.
Big Run is Back!
One of the highlights of the new Fresh Season is the return of the co-op Salmon Run game mode’s whale-sized version, Big Run. Players can sign up for duty from March 3 to March 5 and take on the Horrorboros, a new King Salmonid, on a new stage called Inkblot Art Academy. As a reward, players may win a special decoration for their locker.
But that’s not all! Fresh Season 2023 also introduces a new limited-time competitive event called Eggstra Work, which is being added to Salmon Run. In this friends-only match, players compete across five waves to see who can earn the top score.
Tableturf Battle and More!
Fresh Season 2023 also adds the ability to duel in Tableturf Battle online with friends! Head to the upper level of the lobby or the Shoal to play. To celebrate, 23 new card types are also being added to Tableturf Battle.

In addition to these new features, Fresh Season 2023 also adds the new stage Um’ami Ruins, a famous tourist spot featuring ancient squid paintings. Returning favorite Manta Maria is also added to the stage rotation, and there are new weapons to take advantage of like the special weapon Kraken Royale and the brand-new special, Super Chump. And of course, there are fresh fashions and items in all your favorite shops, both in Splatsville and in the newly available Inkopolis hub for Inklings and Octolings who’ve purchased the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pack.
