How To Cope With No Direct Announcement.

Watch as hope turns to outrage

Do you feel anger in your body right now? Do feel sadness and depression and it won’t stop tormenting you? You may have just experienced NoNintendoDirectitus. You are not alone in this feeling despair, and there is hope. Just like Mario’s Princess is in another castle there will be another day for a Nintendo Direct announcement. Let’s look take a look at the steps needed to get through this trying time.

  1. Play your massive backlog. I know playing games isn’t nearly as fun as hearing about new ones you won’t play, but you have to try.
  2. Find a grain of salt. Learn what that phrase means. It Is supposed to help manage expectations, and it improves the taste of food.
  3. Focus your outrage on the leakers and get it all out. Remember leakers love attention, so they are the enemy. Tweeting at Nintendo for not doing what you expected isn’t helping. Grab your pitchfork and grain of salt and head to Reset Era. Join the masses in spewing outrage. Remember that each new day brings something new to be angry at. Thank the leakers for helping you find your daily anger without having to skim Reddit.

Are you feeling better now? With these three simple steps, I believe you can overcome this and find happiness again. Share this with a friend who may be suffering from NoNintendoDirectitus.

  1. Adding to the “grain of salt” part of the article, if Nintendo isn’t saying it, don’t believe it.

Don’t think of rumors as addition, think of them as multiplication. Multiple news outlets reporting on a zero-value rumor won’t necessarily validate it. 0 X 1000 still equals zero.

Best example this year – that “Grinch” leak about Smash fighters. Even top websites were calling it plausible.
