This isn’t for the faint of heart
I don’t think Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 can hold a candle to the tarantulas in Animal Crossing New Horizons. They are key to making money fast and in an entertaining way. Twitter user @Kuraine gives a similar strategy New Leaf’s bug hunting, only with terrifying hairy bastards. Check out her thread for the full break down.

Seven steps to spider hunting.
This will only work November – April, 7 pm – 4 am. (There is a chance that islands have the same bugs and fish year-round like Animal Crossing New Leaf)
- Collect branches and iron nuggets so you can make more nets unless you want to make them ahead of time.
- Clear all the trees. Cut down and remove stumps (watch out for wasps)
- Pick all the flowers. (you can leave the stems)
- Destroy all rocks and move the materials to the beach
- Pull all the weeds drop them on the beach
- Run everywhere to scare of Tiger Beatles and Warf Roaches
- Let the Tarantula chase you, get some distance, turn and catch them (if you get bit you will respawn by the plane)
This method keeps the bugs that can spawn to a minimum allowing you to have a terrifyingly good time making money fast in Animal Crossing New Horizons. I will abandon all tools that I bring and only return with iron nuggets and 29 of the eights legged freaks.
