Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational
- The Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational is happening on Saturday, June 8th starting at 11 am PST.
- Players will play a variety of courses created by Nintendo’s Treehouse.
- Four Nintendo content creators will be there:
- The Dragon Feeny
- Abdullah
- The Completionist
- Yellowkillerbee
- Round one: Will be the four players each compete in timed speed runs.
- Round Two: Will be players will split into teams of two and work together to complete the course. The winning team will move onto the Finals.
- Finals: The remaining two players will face off in three objective-based mini-courses and one final course to determine the champion.
- I will be hosting the event on Twitch.tv/N64Josh.
Super Mario Maker 2 No Online With Friends
- Nintendo has confirmed that Super Mario Maker 2 will not have online multiplayer with friends, only random people.
- Players cheating the leaderboards was the reason that was given to GameXplain when they reached out to Nintendo.
- Social and ranked matches seem like a simple solution to this problem.
- 2v2 runs would also be a great addition. Similar to round 2 of the invitational.
- If you register your game, voice your concerns about multiplayer in the survey.
- There is still plenty of content in Super Mario Maker 2.
Super Mario Maker 2 Tips Item Jumps
- If you have Mario Maker on WiiU or 3DS, you can begin practicing item jumps now.
- Here are the links to the video and written guide.
- Create simple levels that will allow you to practice and learn muscle memory for pulling off these item jumps.
