Super Mario Maker 2 Preview Roundup
A handful of Nintendo content creators were in New York last week for a Super Mario Maker 2 preview event. GameXplain, Kotaku, and IGN were just a few the outlets that were there. All of them went hands-on time with Super Mario Maker 2 and have released videos on Youtube. I’ve gathered a handful of the Super Mario Maker 2 previews on Youtube so you can watch all them in one place. After watching my biggest takeaway is the that creating with the controller is going to take some to get used to it. Andre, from GameXplain, mentioned that it was the biggest hurdle to overcome, but he thinks he will feel more natural with time. I can’t wait to go hands-on with the Koopa Car and was very relieved to hear that all the creation tools will be unlocked from the get-go. It took seven to ten days to unlock everything last time. 3d World looks amazing visually, whilst it lacks some features from others it’s a great opportunity to create vastly different levels to the original 4 styles.
