Nintendo saved the best for the last in an amazing Direct! As the Direct was coming to a close we see Isabell staying busy at her desk and asking about taking a break.
At first glance, I was excited to see Animal Crossing coming to Switch and then I quickly realized she going to be a Smash character.
Would this be Nintendo’s greatest troll moment ever? I wondered for a second but quickly realized the Direct would end with Animal Crossing Switch. After Isabelle’s invitation to Smash we see Tom Nook sitting at a desk trying to turn a lamp on. 
He goes on to mention “camping and Smashing” and how it can “tucker you out.”
After he finishes up his little monologue we see Animal Crossing 2019 and the Direct concluded.
