Mario Maker 2 Gameplay
Nintendo of Japan released a one minute video of Mario Maker 2 gameplay. In the video, you see three different styles; Super Mario Bros, Super Mario World, and Super Mario 3D World. The footage initially had some people believing that you could swap between styles by going through pipes, but I don’t think that to be the case. If you look at the second pipe, Mario enters its looks as he should emerge at the top, but the cut in the video has him exiting into a pipe in Super Mario 3D World. The coin count also changes with each cut which also leads me to believe that styles cannot vary throughout a level.
