Alph And Friends Seem To Be Struggling
In its first week, Pikmin 3 sold 18.5% less on the Switch than on the WiiU. These UK charts only reflect physical sales numbers and due to current world circumstances, more people may opt for digital games. Some people feel that Nintendo dropped the ball marketing this game but I feel like I saw ads for it every time I opened Twitter. There was Treehouse live and feel like they gave it a nice window with not many games launching at the same time. For most of these WiiU Titles Nintendo is hoping to recoup losses from their first at-bat but in the case of Pikmin, I feel like releasing it as a trilogy would have been a better route for this series.
