Super Mario Maker 2 online multiplayer.
Get ready to go online with friends in Super Mario Maker 2! One of the biggest shocks of the Direct was online multiplayer. Versus or co-op online or offline will bring hours of fun and frustration I’m sure. The stream possibilities were the first thing that went through my head. I loved seeing all the different styles of characters.
Both sets of 8-Bit Toads added some extra charm to Super Mario Maker 2. I love the inclusion of Toadette her 8-bit pigtails are amazing! I do wonder how many characters will be included? Will we see Peach, Wario, or Waluigi? I hope we do! I’m guessing all the characters will play the same to keep the game balanced.
I hate that it is surprising to us that Nintendo would include online multiplayer in Super Mario Maker 2. I really didn’t expect it but because it doesn’t seem like a game that would have it included. The inclusion really adds value to package and keeps the game fresh for so much longer. The Super Mario Maker 2 community will keep this game alive for quite some time and multiplayer play a large part in that. Playing levels against streamers or watching four of your favorite streamers multi-stream will make for some great times on Twitch.
