Tetris 99 is taking us back 1989 with its GameBoy theme.
The 3rd Tetris 99 Maximum Cup is happening this weekend, and you can unlock the GameBoy theme by getting 100 points. Each time you complete a game, you receive points, the higher you place, the more points you get. My best so far this weekend is 6th! The GameBoy theme not only looks like the classic GameBoy game but also sounds like it. There was a flood of nostalgia as soon as I heard the music and hit my first Tetris. You only have until the 19th to unlock the theme, so make sure to put some time in!
