Xbox E3 Conference and Nintendo?

Will Nintendo have a presence at Xbox’s E3 conference?

Xbox and Nintendo

Xbox tweeted out last week that “something new” will be invited to this year’s E3 conference. That “something new” could be the new hardware they are reveling, but some are speculating that it could be the Nintendo Switch. Minecraft, Cuphead, and Ori are only the tip of the iceberg.

Microsoft’s acquisition of RARE has then historically connected to Nintendo. Smash Bros fans are hoping Banjo enters the fight. I’m hoping for Master Chief. I would love for him to join and say “I’m finishing this fight” while sticking Mario with a Plasma Grenade.

Project xCloud on Nintendo Switch?

E3 is the perfect platform for Xbox to announce that xCloud will be available on the Nintendo Switch. If that happens, I will open my wallet and scream, “TAKE MY MONEY!” I believe xCloud will be a focal point for Xbox’s conference and I’m curious how it will stack up to Stadia?

Do you think Nintendo will be present at the Xbox conference?

I would love to hear from you. What are your thoughts on Nintendo and Xbox’s current relationship? Let me know in the comments below.

  1. To be honest, I believe they will collaborate under some measure. The Cuphead port was a prelude of what’s to come. A Rare reply port seems feasible and an excellent way to bring Banjo or Joanna Dark to Smash. I am apprehensive about MCC coming to switch, but it’s bringing it to Switch maybe something Microsoft deems as a flash in a pan. I am personally hoping for X-box Game Pass, Cross Platform play and maybe at least one Halo game (Halo 3) to test the waters out.
